Heart Failure Readmissions Ratio
Hospitals and other providers are working toward preventing complications that can lead to avoidable readmissions. The goals are- better patient care, better population health and lower healthcare costs through improvement. This graph was provided by Quails Health, the Quality Improvement Organization for Idaho and Washington. The Ratios are calculated from the posted Hospital Compare data which covers a three year period (currently thru June 2010). Excess readmissions ratio is >1%. Tri-State Hospitals heart failure readmission rate ranks 5th lowest of all Washington State Critical Access Hospitals.
