The Medical / Surgical Department provides quality inpatient care with a unique sense of compassion. The dedicated highly skilled nursing staff promotes patient centered care and is committed to each patient's individual needs.

Patients admitted to the Medical/Surgical Department will be cared for by a team of highly trained nurses, respiratory therapists, physical therapists, social workers, infection control nurse, discharge planner, speech therapists, occupational therapists, mental health workers and pharmacists. From infant to elderly, we are able to serve the patient's individual needs consistently by planning individual care with others on the team. The entire team is interested in all aspects that affect health and healing, realizing that the healthy balance includes meeting the patient's spiritual, psychological, physical and emotional needs.

We provide an opportunity for each patient to learn how to care for themselves before, during and after hospitalization, by individual instruction, video and written material.

Those who are faced with terminal illness find comfort in being surrounded by their family. Family Comfort rooms, which allow family the freedom of staying with their loved one in a private, comfortable environment are available.
