    The strength of the family, with the help from theTri-State Hospital Hospice Team, makes a difference for the terminally ill.

    Tri-State Hospital Hospice serves to strengthen the patient / family unit by providing the services of a nurse, social worker, medical director, chaplain, home health aide, volunteers, therapists, and others. In many cases Hospice provides medications, equipment, and supplies to increase comfort.

    Tri-State Hospital Hospice continues to provide care for the family after the death through follow-up bereavement visits and grief support groups are available to any family member.

VOLUNTEERS. . .

    Are the foundation of Hospice care. Volunteers provide support in a variety of ways, but perhaps the most important is their compassionate presence.

    The Tri-State Hospital Hospice Program has a dedicated group of patient care and bereavement support volunteers. Hospice offers volunteer training each year.
