JAPANESE EARTHQUAKE 2011- WHAT DOES IT MEAN FOR WASHINGTON?

Nuclear power plants in Japan were damaged by the massive earthquake last week. There have been concerns about the amounts of radiation that may be released and how it might affect Washington.  There is no public health threat in Washington as a result of the events at Japan’s nuclear facilities.
